The best British universities by reputation (World ranking 2015)

British universities have risen in the world reputation rankings, according to the latest table published by Times Higher Education (THE), with Oxford and Cambridge beating the big names of the US to come in at the top just after Harvard.

The 2015 table shows 12 UK universities in the world’s top 100, compared to the 10 that appeared the previous year, with the addition of the universities of Durham and Warwick. Cambridge and Oxford moved up two places to finish second and third, respectively, outperforming the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford University .
